This list is by no means exhaustive. We are all different and that’s why it’s important that I have the opportunity to get to know as much about you as I can. I value and recognise that tailor making any treatment to you and your specific needs is the most beneficial way forward.
As someone heavily involved in performing Arts, I went to Dave to get some help with my confidence particularly for auditioning and responding to feedback. The support he gave me was excellent and hypnotherapy has helped massively with my stage fright.
Generally speaking, fees are per session and are the same irrespective of the condition or issue that is being treated. In the majority of cases treatment will take place over a number of sessions. I don’t predetermine this before I have met you. We will work together on planning the number of sessions required and of course this will be influenced by your progress etc.
The exception is Smoking Cessation – this will usually be a single session treatment.
I am available for evening appointments and weekends.
Debit and Credit Card payments are accepted.
If you have any questions or concerns then you can contact me initially either via telephone or through email. If you then decide to work with me then our first meeting would be an initial consultation to determine the best way forward.
This session will usually last around 90 mins and it is my opportunity to give you quality time to talk through your issues, for me to listen and to ask questions that will help me to work through the most appropriate treatment plan that we can then agree on. I consider this to be valuable time for us to start building a strong therapeutic relationship.
These sessions will usually last between 45-60 mins. In these sessions we will use a range of techniques, including deep relaxation as well as guided imagery and suggestion to support you. These sessions may also include other strategies such as counselling, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy etc. We will have worked through how we use these sessions as part of our discussion and agreement of your treatment plan. There is no prescribed number of these sessions but typically it would be 3 or 4 with more if felt necessary.
Smoking is a psychological habit that often comes about as a result of a response to a stimulus e.g. stress, boredom etc. As with any habit, reprogramming the subconscious mind through suggestion can help ‘break’ the way you respond. It has been found that if someone is determined to give up smoking that a single session of hypnotherapy can be the most successful.
Hypnotherapy is a powerful technique that can help you to regain control of your life by helping you to reframe and reimagine how you approach things. It provides you with an opportunity to focus on yourself and how you want to improve the quality of life.
